So last night, while recording Revival Radio, we kind of ran out of time and didn’t get to talk much about this weekend’s Survivor Series Pay Per View event. So I figured maybe I’d just do a writeup. This weekend’s shows should provide quite a lot of great matches for us fans to watch on the WWE Network! The NXT group starts the weekend off on Saturday night with the latest TakeOver event in which a gimmick match we haven’t seen in 20 years when SAnitY, The Authors of Pain with Roderick Strong & The Undisputed Era face off inside two rings surrounded by a cage in War Games.

Along with that awesome attraction, they’re giving us an NXT Title match between defending champion, Drew McIntyre & Andrade “Cien” Almas and will also determine a new NXT Womens Champion when Nikki Cross, Ember Moon, Peyton Royce & Mae Young Classic Tournament winner, Kairi Sane face off for the title that Asuka vacated upon leaving for Monday Night Raw. Other matches include: Kassius Ohno vs. Lars Sullivan and Aleister Black vs. Velveteen Dream. A pretty stacked card that also includes for the live audience, a match for the WWE UK Title when Pete Dunne defends his title against Johnny Gargano. For us not attending, that match will air on NXT next Wednesday and it’s sure to be another great match!

But on to my original purpose for writing today…this year’s Survivor Series card is seriously stacked! I mean let’s break this thing down and just marvel at the show that we’re about to witness on Sunday night, shall we? Continue reading »

So I first wanted to do a write up about last night’s Summer Slam Pay Per View. First off, if you haven’t seen this show…go out and order the WWE Network already! This really was a phenomenal show! From top to bottom, I was thoroughly happy with everything they gave us. Continue reading »

I’m gonna give you a little window into my day to day life…in the morning, I usually get up at about 5:45 to get my son up, fed, dressed & ready to go to the baby sitter’s house. My wife is usually getting herself ready while I’m doing all this, and then once she’s out the door with him, it’s time for me to get myself ready. While I’m feeding him, I typically put the news on to see what’s going on in the world, to see how warm it’s supposed to be today and to see if there are any traffic reports that impact my ride in to NYC in the morning.

This morning was no different. So once he was ready, I started to get ready & she left with him. The TV tends to stay on usually until I’m ready to walk out the door, so the news continues while I’m in the shower, getting dressed, etc. So when I was finally out of the bathroom & heading in to the bedroom to figure out what I was going to wear today, I caught a news story about the Ultimate Warrior passing away last night. My morning just stopped. Continue reading »

The headlines all around the wrestling sites is the untimely death of the British Bulldog, Davey Boy Smith. To say I was a fan of his in the mid 90s is an understatement. He was such an accomplished wrestler & I’m going to truly miss him. I do have for you a remberence page up for the British Bulldog, which can be reached by clicking here.

Ok, now that we have Judgment Day 2002 out of the way, maybe we can get on to some decent shows….but that’s not very likely. It might be interesting to see if Continue reading »
